Kevin
R. Butler, P.E.
President and Owner
Kevin formed K.R. Butler Engineering,
Inc. in 1998 as he saw a need for an engineering company
with a hands-on approach to design and construction.
Kevin has over 18 years of experience in the construction
industry. Prior to becoming an engineer, he worked as
a carpenter building custom homes and small commercial
facilities. Kevin has performed as the principal engineer
on a variety of projects, including automotive dealerships,
commercial buildings, land development projects, industrial
facilities, and a number of food processing facilities.
As an engineer, Kevin has spent and
continues to spend an extensive amount of time in the
field working with contractors and owners. He believes
an engineer has to work in the field, as well as, the
office to develop economical and practical design projects.
Kevin believes in empowering the employees who work
with him, not for him, to have a personal stake in all
they do and how they represent the company through the
work product. top
Tim
Huggins
Draftsman/Designer
Tim Huggins joined the firm in April
2001. He has over four years of experience as a CAD
drafter with training in AutoCAD 2000 and Iron CAD 3D
modeling. Prior to becoming a drafter, Tim served 13
years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a law enforcement
officer, serving at various duty stations.
Tim’s military experience has
enhanced his drafting abilities by giving him a sense
of thoroughness and attention to detail with a strong
feeling of urgency for each project. His previous experience
involved laying out multi-discipline drawings together
without interference. Tim enjoys being involved with
project personnel as opposed to just producing lines
on the paper. top
Vicki
Scocca
Draftswoman/Civil Technician
Vicki joined our firm in May 2002. She
came to our firm as an entry-level drafter and has progressed
rapidly due to the demands of the industry. Her willingness
to learn and ability to take on multiple tasks has enhanced
the drafting department. Vicki has extensive knowledge
of the Equine world and has been a valuable asset to
the design of several of our Equestrian facilities.
Vicki has recently taken on the civil/survey side of
our industry and has been integrating new software and
technology to our systems. top
Marla Cox
Administrative Manager / Accounting
Marla Cox joined our company in December
2002. Marla has extensive knowledge of the construction
industry, having worked for contractors, materials testing
laboratories, and engineers over the last 10 years.
Marla oversees all administrative, accounting and daily
operations.
Service is very important to K.R. Butler Engineering,
Inc. clients. Knowing this, Marla strives to ensure
your project is billed accurately and timely for your
convenience. top
